Most Coral Springs patients come to us for everyday care. Our hygienists provide dental cleanings, preventive visits and periodontal maintenance. Dr. Buitrago places fillings and composite bonding, completes root canal therapy on front teeth, premolars and molars, and performs simple and surgical extractions. When gum disease is present, we offer gum disease treatment, including scaling and root planing.
Life does not always follow a schedule, so we also offer emergency dental appointments for problems like a broken tooth or sudden pain. For patients who feel anxious in the chair, oral sedation is available. We also offer Invisalign, porcelain veneers, and in-office and take-home teeth whitening for patients who want to refresh how their smile looks.
Restoring Teeth With a Prosthodontist
Dr. Buitrago is a prosthodontist, a dentist with three additional years of specialty training in replacing and restoring teeth. He earned dental degrees from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2000) and New York University (2008). He completed NYU's advanced program in prosthodontics and dental implants. He then finished a three-year prosthodontics residency at New York Hospital Queens, affiliated with Cornell University, and received the Gersten Award.
That training shapes how we handle crowns, bridges, complete and partial dentures, and denture repairs or replacements. For missing teeth, we offer dental implants, implant-supported bridges and implant-supported dentures. We also provide bone grafting when it is needed and full-mouth rehabilitation for more complex needs. Complex cases are planned and restored here in our office instead of being referred out, and our on-site dental lab supports that work. You do not need a referral to see us.
