Dr. Renan Buitrago, DDS
Dr. Renan Buitrago, DDS, is a prosthodontist with two dental degrees and more than two decades in dentistry. He earned his first dental degree in 2000 from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, completed a one-year Advanced Study Program in Prosthodontics and Dental Implants at New York University College of Dentistry in 2005, and earned his second DDS from NYU in 2008, where he taught in the predoctoral and graduate clinics and received the Dr. Harry J. Gersten Award for excellence in fixed prosthodontics and the Long Island Academy of Odontology Award for scholastic achievement.
He completed a three-year postgraduate residency in prosthodontics at New York Hospital Queens, affiliated with Cornell University, in 2011. After practicing in Georgia and southwest Florida, he opened his solo practice in Coral Springs in 2014.
Known to his patients as Dr. B, he focuses on dental implants, crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Outside the office he enjoys time with his wife and children and recently completed his first half marathon.
